Ever wonder what these Sesame Street stars are doing today?

The muppet character skits were all great, but this bit also brings back fond memories.

When you think about it, Sesame Street was turning out quality video long before YouTube came along.

Sending out a special birthday thank you to the entire cast!

We set aside a month to remember;
as we all know, that month is November.
We honor our heroes, both dead and living
and then join our families for Thanksgiving.

On this, the next to last month of the year,
the weather is crisp, the skies are clear.
The leaves are falling, but not the snow;
all is serene on the ground below.

We know what is coming, and we prepare:
get out heavy blankets and winter wear.
We make holiday lists, visit the malls,
and decorate trees with bright-colored balls.

We look back behind us and also ahead,
when brown and orange becomes green and red.
Enjoy what remains of glorious fall;
its beauty is here for us, one and all.
