A Christmas Tree
by Eve Bunting

A charming children’s story about a family going into the woods to find their favorite tree.  This is one of my all time favorite stories.  It can be read and enjoyed all winter.

The Gift of the Magi
by O. Henry

I would recommend it.  I’ve always liked this story because the true gift didn’t cost money, it was their love for each other.

The Polar Express
by Chris Van Allsburg

The theme of “Believe” is true for all of us.  The book is imaginative and the bell is something tangible for little ones.
